Sailor Moon Costume

Some of you may remember the popular Japanese fantasy cartoon that ran for about 6 years in North America. The characters make great costume ideas.

This is my version of a Sailor Moon Costume.

This homemade costume was made for my daughter’s friend Lexy, for a Halloween costumes party.

Fabric I used:

Vest: White Satin

Skirt on body suit: Electric Blue Satin

Body Suit: White Spandex

Bows: Red Satin

I used two sewing patterns for this homemade costume, and for the bows, I made my own. Go to how to make a bow .

For the vest I used the sleeveless view, and for the body suit I used the short sleeve view.

The body suit has a built in panty and the skirt is attached to the body suit.

Both patterns have easy to follow directions.

Don't Forget The Accessories

Elbow Length Nylon Gloves (White) Includes one pair of gloves.

Gogo (Red) Adult Boots Includes one pair of red boots with a small wide heel. Available in women sizes 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10.
